Head Swap Donor Needed

Hey everyone,
I have a WD 3TB Red Drive that has failed.

Details are as Follows:

3.0TB WD30EFRX Red

WWN: 50014EE003CE0823
Date: 14 APR 2014
DCM: DHRNHTJCH
DCX: 1E05U2RZ7
5VDC: 0.60A
12VDC: 0.45A
R/N: 771945
Controller Family: Marvell Diablo 3D
Product of Malaysia

S/N: WMC4N2617753
MDL: WD30EFRX-68EUZN0



Can anybody advise what details I will need to look out for in a donor drive for a head swap?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Most of The 3 TB Are Fully compatiable With 4TB models ,Can you upload ROM To Forums Here For Me to have a peek at your rom and give some suggestions

Sorry but this has gone way over my head lol..
I'm assuming the drive needs to fire up to read the ROM file?
If so, I cant do that as the drive is not readable by the OS.

What tools do you have?
Usually you can read the ROM only from the PCB without being attached to the HDA.

I have the necessary tools to pull the drive apart of need be. What do I need to do to get the firmware?
