I got a 5MP camera for it and my pics look like Larry's (good thing he circled that huge blob of contamination... don't think I would have noticed it otherwise :lol: ) but a 3MP would have been plenty resolution.
Would yours happen to be something similar?
I like the boom-arm version because I can push it to the side and just swing it over when I need to inspect heads. Fancy eh?
By the way, what were you using before? I don't think I'd be able to properly inspect/clean sliders properly with an image quality any lower than what my scope provides now.
abedalkareem: obviously with the type of scope I have, it's not about about the position of the scope or the camera, but more about positioning the head stack underneath. For this I use a mini-clamp that I modified to securely hold any head stack. Then I use the handle on the clamp to position the HSA for my viewing pleasure.
