Question: Recover data from mac drive after being formatted with windows

I'm new to this forum and I have a question for you guys if you don't mind helping out.

Can I recover Mac data under Windows?

First: Welcome to the forum.

Second: why did you installed Windows if you wanted to recover data from the OS? You will probably get nothing now, because sectors will be overwritten.

It was a mistake and now I need data that were in the drive when I was using it as mac dive.

Can I get data back if I installed OS X in that HDD and tried some data recovery softwares ?

NO, don't write or install nothing more on that drive.
The more you do it, the more damage you do.

You can eventually connect the drive to another PC and with recovery software try to see what you can recover.
