I see no mention of Spectek in the story, but I hope that by supplying flash, they don't mean Spectek. Or do I hoe that, because business will boom with a tonne of really painful recoveries. Be nice if they explained what they mean by SAS and go into it a bit more.

Seagate already were making some insanely fast and capable SSD Server Storage. I heard about it on a storage geeky podcast, and when I read about the rack mounted storage I was actually pretty impressed. Some of the technology in the controller like storing non-duplicate technology really made sense.
