Hi

Can someone tell me can I use some similar disk for head swap on this disk like other capacity? Because I cannot find locally head donor for this model of the disk. This model has 8 heads. Heads 2,3,4 are bad and I have tried to disable these heads and tried to extract some data but no success.

It might work. It's certainly possible to swap heads between SATA and PATA drives of the same series. I'm just not liking the difference in the dates of those two drives.

I almost never even transfer head adaptives for F3 series. It rarely makes a difference.

unfortunately no luck with this PATA donor drive. Obviously date was big difference!?
