WD Gold shows as unpartitioned, cannot initialize due to I/O error

After physical shock to the case, the WD gold started to produce digital squeaks (squeaks a few times after PC turned on, then stops).
Partition software (many) show no partitions, cannot initialize due to I/O error:
"The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"
So no software can perform any rebuilding/fixing operations.

Before incident, worked perfectly

Is it a physical damage problem?
Where should I start to fix it?
(Thanks in advance)

Sorry for the very delayed reply. Any drive that sustains a physical shock is likely to have physical damage and should be left powered off and sent to a professional data recovery lab with the right tools and knowledge to safely assess and recover your data.
