- These Cases are Always Custom Quoted After Evaluation
Hard Drives (Hardware Failure)
Please note that the below prices are based on our Priority Service level. Emergency services will be quoted higher.
Hardware Tier 1
Covers 70% of All Cases- Hard Drives With Lots of Bad Sectors
- Hard Drives Requiring PCB Repair/Replacement
- Most Common Firmware Code Repair Cases
- Hard Drives With Stuck Read Write Heads That Can Be Freed w/o Being Ruined
- 70% of cases fall into this category
- Only $450 after discount
Hardware Tier 2
Data Recovery- Hard Drives Needing Read/Write Heads Replaced With Good Recovery Odds
- Hard Drives Requiring Extensive Firmware Repair Work
- Hard Drives Requiring Other Internal Repairs or With Multiple Issues
- $815 + Parts after discount
- Includes Free External HDD for Return of Data
Hardware Tier 3
Data Recovery- High-Density Drives (Especially Seagates) With Low Odds of Successful Recovery
- Model Specific Challenges Requiring Excessive Clean Room Work to Repair

- Includes Free External HDD for Return of Data
Thumb Drive & Flash Memory Data Recovery
Prices are for devices with a capacity up to 32Gb. Larger devices may cost extra.
Logical Data Recovery
Software Level- Accidental Deletion or Format
- Filesystem Corruption Caused By Improper Eject
- Small Number of Bad Sectors Causing Malfunction
Chip On Recovery
Hardware Level- Drives which are unstable or have a lot of bad sectors
- Damaged PCB Board or USB Port Damaged However PCB Is Repairable So Memory Can Be Read VIA The Original Controller
Chip Off Recovery
Hardware Level- Flash Memory or Thumb Drives Having Failed Control Chips or Severely Damaged PCB Necessitating Direct NAND Memory Reading
- Price Will Vary Depending on Capacity, Number of NAND Chips, and Nand/Controller Type
Monolith
All In One Chips- Thumb Drives Which Do Not Have a Green Printed Circuit Board But Consist Entirely of a Single Chip
- These Require Extensive Soldering and Circuit Analysis Under a Microscope
RAID Array Data Recovery
All RAID recovery projects are treated as priority projects by default. For even faster emergency service see the Extras Section
IDE or SATA HDDs
Price Per Drive- Price is Calculated Based by Multiplying This Price with The Original Number of Drives Including Failed & Parity Drives
- Hot Spare Drives Are Not Counted Toward The Total Number
- If any drive necessary to rebuild the array requires Tier 2 or higher recovery, extra cost may apply
SCSI or SAS HDDs
Price Per Drive- Price is Calculated Based by Multiplying This Price with The Original Number of Drives Including Failed & Parity Drives
- Hot Spare Drives Are Not Counted Toward The Total Number
- If any drive necessary to rebuild the array requires Tier 2 or higher recovery, extra cost may apply
RAID Extras
In Some Cases, Extras May Apply. Some Examples Include:- Advanced or Nested RAID Formats Such As RAID 6, 60, etc.
- Very Large Arrays (Over 8 drives)
- Proprietary RAID Types Such as Those Used in SAN Units

- In Some Rare Cases, a Higher Price May be Quoted
Extras & Add-Ons
Oversize Drives
Over 2Tb- If your hard drive is larger than two Tb in size, you can add an additional $50 per Tb over 2 to the cost.
- This is to cover the additional equipment time required for imaging and analyzing these large drives and is applied to all tier levels equally.
Mac Formatted HDD
Extra for Apple HDDs- The average Mac has more than three times the number of files a comparable Windows computer has. This ties up our systems and causes delays necessitating the additional charge.
- Time Machine Backup recovery (if desired) will incur even more additional charges.
Emergency Service
Fastest Possible- Emergency service means we will work through the night and over the weekend to get the project done as fast as humanly possible
- Price starts at $300 and is quoted based on estimate of overtime hours required to complete the project
- We can only provide a quote for Emergency Service after we evaluate your media
Return Media
External Hard Drive- You are always free to provide your own return media such as an external hard drive or you can buy one from us at a fair market price
- For projects consisting of a very small amount of data, you can download free of charge over our secure server
