these tiny fans tend to stop working or speed is slow down and not effective any more after prolonged use due to the accumulation of dust etc. then what ?

Yes, I've been hearing a lot of chatter about SSD's losing data when powered off for extended periods of time. Apparently it's not such an issue if it's used regularly, but leave your laptop in a hot car for a few months, and you might lose some data.

I'm very curious to see if in time we start to see more SSD's that gracefully fail, rather than all at once, and perhaps just cause more logical corruption.
