Let’s talk about snoring. I’ve been a snorer for years. Not the cute kind that’s barely noticeable. Mine is loud. Like, wake-the-neighbors loud. Chainsaw revving loud. My wife has put up with it for way too long, but recently, she hit her limit. She’s a light sleeper, and my snoring was ruining her nights. Something had to change.

Every night, I’d wake up to her nudging me, telling me to roll over. Some nights, she even moved to the couch. Not ideal. I don’t blame her. It was clear my snoring was getting out of hand. I just didn’t know what to do.

I tried the “sleep on your side” trick. Didn’t work. I tried not eating or drinking before bed. Still didn’t work. My wife finally said, “We’re finding a real solution. Tonight.” And that’s how I ended up testing nasal strips.

Breathe Right Extra Strength Nasal Strips

The first thing we tried were the Breathe Right extra strength nasal strips. I saw them in the pharmacy aisle. They promise to open up your nose and make breathing easier. Simple enough.

The first night, I was optimistic. I stuck one on and noticed a difference right away. My nose felt clearer. I could actually breathe through both nostrils. That was new.

But in the morning, my wife said, “Better, but you’re still snoring.” Not exactly the glowing review I was hoping for. By the third night, my nose was also starting to feel a little sore. The adhesive was no joke. Peeling it off felt like waxing my nose. Not fun.

Pros:

  • Affordable and cheap
  • OK at opening nasal passages
Cons:

  • Didn’t stop snoring completely
  • Adhesive irritated my skin
Verdict: These helped a little, but they didn’t fix the snoring. Also, they’re not great if your skin doesn’t like strong adhesives.

Blaze Performance Nasal Strips

Next up, we tried the Blaze performance nasal strips. These are made more for athletic people with sensitive skin, but they say it can also be used for sleeping. Same concept as Breathe Right but with softer adhesive.

These were much easier on my nose. No redness, no peeling issues. They were more comfortable, but the trade-off was less sticking power. I’d wake up with one side hanging off. And the snoring? Still happening. My wife said it sounded like I was trying to cut back but hadn’t quit completely.

Pros:

  • Great for sensitive skin
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons:

  • Less effective at opening nasal passages
  • Weak adhesive
  • Didn’t significantly reduce snoring
Verdict: Good for sensitive skin, but not great for heavy snorers like me. They felt nice, but they didn’t stop the noise.

Intake Breathing Nasal Strips

After two strikeouts, I was feeling defeated. Then we found the Intake Breathing Nasal Strips. These aren’t your regular peel-and-stick strips. They use magnets. Yes, magnets. My wife was hopeful, but I was desperate.

The starter kit comes with tiny magnetic tabs you stick to the sides of your nose. There’s also a magnetic band that goes over your nose to hold everything in place. It’s a little weird to put on at first, but I was willing to try anything at this point.

That first night was like a miracle. No snoring. None. My wife was actually excited to tell me how quiet I was when we woke up. She wasn’t used to it. I felt like I slept better too. My nose felt completely open, and I wasn’t tossing and turning as much.

By the end of the week, I was sold. These worked every single night. They didn’t fall off, didn’t irritate my skin, and actually stopped the snoring. My wife started joking that it was like getting “a new husband”!

Pros:

  • Extremely effective at opening nasal passages
  • Comfortable and stays in place all night
  • Doesn’t irritate skin
Cons:

  • More expensive than traditional strips
  • Slight learning curve to get the placement right
Verdict: These worked the best and stopped my snoring completely! WINNER ‼️

I'm So Glad I Found The Best Nasal Strips For Me To Stop My Snoring!

If you’re dealing with snoring, start simple. Try the Breathe Right nasal strips first. They’re cheap and easy to find. If you have sensitive skin, go for the Blaze nasal strips. They’re gentler, but they might not be strong enough if your snoring is like mine.

If nothing else works, get the Intake Breathing nasal strips. They’re more expensive, but they actually work. No skin irritation, no peeling, and no noise. It’s worth it for the sleep you’ll both get.

For me, the Intake nasal strips were the solution we needed. My wife finally sleeps through the night, and I wake up feeling brand new. These nasal strips completely stopped my snoring. If you’re tired of snoring ruining your sleep, give them a shot! Hope you sleep tight!

Exactly! Snoring isn’t just annoying; it can be a sign of something bigger. You’re right—if it’s serious, seeing a doctor is the best move.

Are these really worth the cost if they don’t stop snoring completely?
If you snore lightly, cheaper options like Breathe Right might help a bit. But for heavy snoring, the Intake strips cost more but actually stop the snoring. It’s worth it for better sleep!

Do those Intake strips really have magnets? How does that work?
Yes, they do! The magnetic tabs stick to your nose, and a band with magnets helps hold everything in place. It sounds fancy, but it works by keeping your nose open so you can breathe better.

I tried Breathe Right strips before, and my skin was so irritated. Totally get what you mean about the adhesive being a pain.

I can’t believe the Intake strips actually stopped your snoring completely. We’ve been struggling with this at home. Definitely checking those out!
