Help. Platter full of fingerprints, is there hope?

Some sort of spacer needs to go there. It's really the only way to work with a drive with a destroyed parking zone. I find it easier to work with materials other than hot glue, but the idea is the same.

I think it has nothing at all to do with your case. Your drive doesnt have a damaged parking zone, or even a parking zone at all. A 2Tb WD drive will have a plastic parking ramp off the platters.
