Rebuild Lost ARM NVRAM Code

I'm just curious, this isn't a case I'm dealing with or anything like that. Has anyone ever made any progress toward being able to rebuild NVRAM for ARM series drives if the original PCB is lost? It's never come up here yet, but just in case I'd like to know if it's even possible.

Yes, just like some claim to be able to do it for Seagate F3 drives. But, I've yet to see results of either....
