[post]4595[/post] I'll post it in the secrets section

i hate this section

Sorry, just that I like to keep a section with some good tidbits as a reward for only the most active contributors. It's my way of encouraging more people to post good stuff that'll get them nominated to have access by the other members.

Even I don't really decide who has access, everyone there was nominated in by the others. And to get in now, you'll have to be voted in by them. If even one person has an objection to your being allowed access, it gets shot down.

If you ever have the need arise to handle such a case, just PM me. As the OP of the "secret" I can share it with you. I just can't share anyone else's secret posts. That's the concept of the section, a place where you can post and it'll only be seen on a limited basis by those you trust not to re-post it.

I have this slider stuck really hard on platter, tried using blower, didn't know work. Is there a better way to remove this ?

I have a piece of Lexan (approx. 3x8x100mm with notches at either end) that I sometimes use to hold foil-type combs to make them easier to install. Something similar might make a good Sheppard's hook or perhaps can be used to tap such sliders to dislodge them. I'm looking forward to trying it.
