Does anybody ever used a retainer contract for data recovery cases (not forensics) with another person or company? Does anybody has a sample or a draft contract?

I don't know if its just me, but i was not able to successfully release the heads of a WD drive with "stiction" so far and I have come across a handful of them. One or more heads tend to always break off against the ramp... :twisted:

The image is on a 3.5" HDD and with out the encryption key I can't get jack out of it. I just had to have it to be on the safe side. I guess I'll try to save the key to file like u said and try to use it to decrypt the image if I can. Thanks a lot guys...will get back with the result
